JTEL and interactive associates support largest Greek media group in porting complete system

Right on time on January 1st 2010 at exactly 00:00, Audiotex SA in Athens, the interactive subsidiary of the largest TV broadcaster in Greece, commenced operations with their newly commissioned JTEL interaction platform.

“With the new infrastructure we can handle more calls and SMS at a lesser cost”, a very pleased Yiannis Stathakopoulos, the CEO of Audiotex SA commented. “Not only was the installation absolutely trouble free, but so was the migration of over 1000 different services and applications from the old system.” he added.

The platform was built and delivered by Bavarian software vendor JTEL. “Aside from technical and commercial advantages we scored well with our suite of applications. Whereas the old system could only deal with IVR services, the new system handles SMS and conferencing applications too”, said JTEL CEO Lewis Graham.

“Our aim is to establish ourselves in the business to business market too, by offering a combined voice, VoIP and data sharing conferencing solution. “, commented Stathakopoulos on Antenna’s further plans.

“After having supported Antenna TV in my previous position at the management level, I am especially pleased to be able to continue my work with them”, explained interactive associates owner Thomas Hoffmann-Arends.
