The jtel User Group – building a community for you

The first meeting of the new jtel User Group was held in June and it proved to be a great success. More than 40 customers and partners joined the online sessions, sharing insights, experience and tips – and learning the latest news from the team – and also from long-time jtel user JobRad.

CEO Lewis Graham opened the event, providing updates on the latest Teams integration as well as news about cloud deployment options and other integration possibilities. Lewis emphasised the growing importance of APIs for integration with other systems, highlighting how the contact center is becoming an integral element of connected workflows and processes.

This was reflected in the many discussions regarding data sharing and reporting. Users are increasingly keen to extend the native reporting capabilities by exporting data to Business Intelligence systems, so that it can be made accessible. Digital integration and the removal of data siloes is vital to effective transformation, so it’s no surprise to see that this topic captured everyone’s attention.

JobRad – which offers innovative programmes for leasing bicycles to employers and employees – has been a happy jtel customer since 2018. In a keynote presentation, speakers Ralf Linka and Michal Dub outlined the reasons for the deployment, highlighting the improved perspective gained from the service centre – and tighter integration between different systems in the IT infrastructure.

Of particular interest was an emphasis on “tips and tricks”, showing how individual users can really tailor and tune how they use jtel to secure the greatest long-term benefits. And, that’s the key to the new User Group. We want to enable our users to share ideas, best-practice and to exchange tips. It seems you agree – we had great feedback: more than 90% of attendees said they want to come again!

So, we’ll be doing this again in October (hopefully in a hybrid model, so that we can meet in person, as well as online) but we’ll also be creating a platform through which you can collaborate and create spontaneous sessions and interact effectively.

We’re grateful to all who participated and will provide further updates, as we build the foundations of our community platform. Watch out for more news soon!
